John Boyega Attends '24: Live Another Day' Premiere After 'Star Wars' Casting

John Boyega wears a light suit as he steps out for the premiere of his show 24: Live Another Day held at Old Billingsgate Market on Tuesday (May 6) in London, England.

In case you didn’t hear the exciting news, the 22-year-old actor was recently cast in the highly-anticipated film Star Wars: Episode VII, directed by JJ Abrams.

While details of the movie and John‘s role are being kept under wraps, rumor has it that he landed a lead part! We can’t wait to see it!

John was born in Peckham, London, to Nigerian parents and went on to study acting at the Identity Drama School. He’s probably best known for acting in Attack the Block and Imperial Dreams.
