Jordin Sparks & Jason Derulo WIN at BMI Pop Awards 2014!

Jordin Sparks takes the spotlight in a bright pink jumpsuit during the 2014 BMI Pop Awards held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Tuesday night (May 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Along with songwriter Al Sherrod “A-Rod” Lambert, the duo accepted an award on stage for their winning song, “The Way”!

“This is surreal. I’m elated. One of the moments I’ll always remember. ‘I love the way you make me feel….’ <3 #50mostperformedpopsongs #bmipopawards," Jordin posted on Instagram.

She added later, after boyfriend musician Jason Derulo also won for “The Other Side”, “Aslskdjsks!! @jasonderulo & I won! Definitely having a moment right now! My first award as a songwriter! So thankful! ????????????????#bmipopawards.”
