Kiernan Shipka Steps Out Before 'Mad Men' Nabs Emmy Nomination

Kiernan Shipka shows off a new wavy hair look while grabbing dinner at Salt’s Cure on Wednesday night (July 9) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 14-year-old actress’ show Mad Men scored an Emmy’s nomination the following day for Outstanding Drama. Congrats to the entire cast!

“It was emotional for everybody,” Kiernan‘s on-screen father Jon Hamm told the NYT after he also nabbed a nod for Outstanding Actor. “The last day was a series of saying goodbye to people, even though everyone hung around and we all stayed there until late in the evening. It was a bunch of people saying goodbye to characters that they had originated and played for many, many years. Story aside, which obviously I can’t get into, it was the end of an era. We all recognized it.”

A few weeks earlier, Kiernan stepped out for the Kate Spade Saturday Summer Solstice Party held at The Roof on Wilshire.
