Miley Cyrus carries her adorable puppy Emu in her arms while exiting her hotel on Friday (August 1) in New York City.

Later in the day, the 21-year-old entertainer is scheduled to wow the crowd for a Bangerz Tour stop at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
