The Vamps: We Are Not a Typical Boy Band

The Vamps get together for a photo opp while stopping by the SiriusXM Studios on Wednesday (August 20) in New York City.

The guys – James McVey, Connor Ball, Brad Simpson, and Tristan Evans – recently opened up about why they don’t consider themselves a typical boy band.

“It’s very easy to label (us) a boy band but a boy band would be typically a vocal group, so like four singers,” Brad said on Global’s The Morning Show. “But we’re a band.”

James added, “I mean, we have a lead singer, we play instruments.”
