Brits Holliday Grainger & Richard Madden Join BBC One's 'Lady Chatterley's Lover'

The Riot Club‘s Holliday Grainger and Cinderella‘s Richard Madden are headed to BBC One’s adaption of Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Variety reports.

The 26-year-old actress will star as the title character, while Richard, 28, will play gamekeeper Oliver Mellors. Actor James Norton, who stars on BBC One’s Happy Valley, will play Lady Chatterley’s war-wounded husband Sir Clifford Chatterley.

The controversial 1928 novel by D.H. Lawrence is the story of a physical and emotional relationship between a working-class man and an upper-class woman, and was once put on trial in 1960 to determine if the book fell under Britain’s Obscene Publications Act.

Filming starts in October with a premiere date set in 2015.
