Kaya Scodelario Is Frontrunner For 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' Female Lead

Kaya Scodelario is reportedly in early talks for the female lead role in the upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, according to Deadline!

If she gets the role, the 22-year-old English actress would be joined in the Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg directed film by Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Javier Bardem, and Geoffrey Rush.

Kaya is known for her roles in British show Skins, The Truth About Emanuel, and The Maze Runner.

She is currently filming Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, which hits theaters on September 18!
