Ford comes from a trailer park in middle-of-nowhere Arkansas, where his family is best known for their record number of DUIs. The two teens have nothing in common, except a dream of escaping their backgrounds and making names for themselves. That’s where Spotlight comes in, a reality TV show singing competition that’s like a cross between The Real World and American Idol.
