Alexandra Beaton Takes 'The Next Step' To Madrid

The 20-year-old actress and dancer flew to Europe to promote the second season premiere of her show, The Next Step.

“The Next Step is a dance studio slash drama studio,” Alexandra recently shared. “I remember when it first aired. I woke up the next morning to see that I had something like 200 new (Instagram) followers. The following day, I had 2,000 more followers. The numbers kept going up.”

The Next Step follows the ups and downs of an elite group of dancers who train at The Next Step Dance Studio as they balance the pressure of competition with the trials of growing up.
