'Pretty Little Liars' to Introduce Time Jump Next Season, Will Skip College Years

After last night’s shocking “A” reveal on Pretty Little Liars, it has also been revealed that the show will endure some major changes in season six.

According to E! News, the hit ABC Family drama will introduce a several-year time jump next season.

“I did say we’re going to do a four-year time jump and we will honor that before the end of season six,” executive producer Marlene King told the site. “It’s really exciting I can’t wait to see the girls after they come back from college. It’s going to be awesome.”

She continued, “We will start next season right were we left off, with the girls trapped and they don’t get out immediately,” adding that “season six takes place in a very condensed period of time.”
