Cody Simpson stops by Music Choice in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (April 8).

The 18-year-old musician was also spotted leaving the Huffington Post offices the day after (April 9), just ahead of a weekend at Coachella.

“last day in new york city! heading to the desert tomorrow for coachella with my aussie mates,” Cody tweeted.

Earlier in the week, Cody wrote about his upcoming music and why he left the big labels behind: “Started my independent label Coast House trying to get this acoustic rock music to my fellow youth we all deserve to feel good :) #free.”
