Awkward's Evan Crooks is Headed to Hulu's 'Casual'

Evan Crooks has landed a new role!

The 19-year-old Carrie Diaries and Awkward alum is set to recur as Tara Lynne Barr‘s love interest in the new Lionsgate and Hulu series Casual.

Casual is a single-camera, half-hour comedy series executive produced by Jason Reitman, who also will direct the pilot.

Written by up-and-coming scribe Zander Lehmann, the show follows the story of a dysfunctional family with a bachelor brother and his newly divorced sister. Together, they coach each other through the crazy world of dating (online and off), while living under one roof again and raising a teenager.

We can’t wait to see Evan in this role!
