Iggy Azalea Drops Out As Pittsburgh Pride Performer

Iggy Azalea flashes a smile while picking up some goodies at Epione Cosmetic Surgery Center on Monday (June 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

On the same day, the 25-year-old Australian rapper announced that she was cancelling her Pittsburgh Pride performance after receiving some backlash from the LGBT community for her past tweets, which they considered were homophobic.

“This has been a difficult decision as I truly support the event and LGBTQIA communities, however I feel my participation at this point would only serve to further distract from the true purpose of the event,” Iggy shared on Twitter.
