Cody Simpson Says He's 'Still Mates' With Ex Gigi Hadid: 'I'm Just Moving Forward'

The 18-year-old Australian singer says he’s still close to the 20-year-old model, who is now dating Joe Jonas.

“Everything that happens in life is…You could never regret anything because it was the right thing for you at the time,” Cody told Teen.com. “You know what I mean? And, she was and still remains a part of my life. We’re still mates.”

Cody continued, “Growing in different directions and having been on that same path of life for a while, it was nice. She was on set and just jumped in. She’s very casual like that. It’s never weird, and always amicable. You know, I’m just moving forward.”
