The guys — Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky — opened up with the mag about being Vine famous, music and more. Check it:

On their advice about being a social star: “First rule, we don’t engage with the haters. That’s taken a little time to learn, but it is really important advice for anyone out there wanting to share their talent via Vine, or any form of social media…Second, it’s a fact, there are a lot of famous Viners. Everyone we know who is successful on Vine works really hard. It’s not easy to tell a story or deliver a joke in 6 seconds.”

On their Vines: “When we started making Vines, they were part comedy, part music parody, and part straight-up music. The music vines were really popular and it got us to try putting some real music out there to see where it would go. The response we got was pretty surprising, so we just kept getting into the studio and making more music.”

On their future: “[We'll] probably [be] doing what we’re doing, just a lot more of it, reaching more listeners with our music and meeting our fans more so we can stay connected as we are all going through life…We still want to work with our comedic talent, and acting, because we both love doing that. That’s not going away any time soon.”
