Monique Coleman Tells Fans To 'Dreams Do Come True' As HSM's 10 Year Anniversary Nears

We don’t know about you, but JJJ loves with Monique Coleman shares stories about High School Musical.

Especially ones about where she was, her reaction to getting the role of Taylor McKessie and the stories behind the pictures.

Monique shared another story from her time on the movie, as we come upon the 10 Year Anniversary.

“10 years ago, ???? I came home from filming High School Musical to an empty bank account and a 3 day eviction notice on my apartment door. I didn’t even watch the movie on my own television because I couldn’t afford the Disney Channel….instead I watched it with kids I was babysitting for $10/hr. I didn’t have a passport. I’d never recorded a song & I was collecting unemployment. I remember that one of my greatest aspirations was to be able to shop at Whole Foods,” she wrote on Instagram.

Monique continued, “I share this to remind you that dreams do comes true! They rarely come without sacrifice, hard work, and a faith that closely resemblance to insanity….but they do come true. Cherish the journey. Enjoy the struggles. And most of all, believe in yourself with all your heart ?? #HSM10.”
