Lily James Says Loving Jane Austen is an 'English Birthright'

Lily James appears on Good Morning America to discuss her new movie Pride and Prejudice and Zombies on Wednesday (January 27) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress said she was shocked at the idea of putting zombies in a Jane Austen story when she first heard about the idea.

“I was a bit confused when I first read the title,” Lily said. “I love Jane Austen. I’m English so it’s like a birthright. I was a bit mortified, and thought, ‘You can’t put zombies in!’ Then I read it and I loved it. It somehow works.”
