Taylor Swift Donates $250K to Kesha After Devastating Court Decision

Taylor Swift‘s rep has just confirmed that she made a huge donation to Kesha amid her ongoing legal battle with Sony and Dr. Luke.

“In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time,” Taylor‘s rep told Just Jared Jr in a statement.

Kesha has accused Dr. Luke of sexual assault, as well as mental and emotional abuse during their collaboration and desperately wanted out of her Sony contract. She was denied release in court and has since received so much support from various celebrities.

Kesha‘s mom also confirmed the news on her Twitter account.

“Taylor Swift has just generously donated $250,000. to Kesha, as a show of support during this difficult time.AMAZING!!” she tweeted. “A persons wealth is not measured by what they have but by WHO they they help with it. And Taylor Swift is is a truly RICH PERSON. Thank you”
