Sabrina Carpenter's Music is Inspired by 'True Emotions'

Sabrina Carpenter is all smiles while arriving at the Facebook building on Monday (February 22) in Los Angeles.

The 16-year-old Girl Meets World star recently opened up about her new song “Smoke and Fire.”

“It truly felt like the song wrote itself since I was just telling a story,” Sabrina told Teen Vogue. “I listen to music to when I’m feeling a certain way or to make myself feel a certain way. So why not make my own music inspired by true emotions?”

She added, “It always feels good to put something you’re proud of out in the world. This song has been my little secret for quite some time. Now it’s the world’s little secret.”
