Gregg Sulkin runs through a fitness routine on Tuesday (March 29) at a perk in Studio City, Calif.

The 23-year-old actor is set to play a high school quarterback in his new movie Status Update, which will begin filming in May.

The movie stars Gregg as a high school quarterback who changes his Facebook status to “Interested in Men” as a social experiment and accidentally becomes a national gay hero when a tribute video goes viral.

Gregg’s character finds out that being gay isn’t as easy as he thought and has to figure out how to tell everyone the truth.
