Kat Graham's Bonnie Will Get Amazing Exit on 'Vampire Diaries', Says Julie Plec

With the 26-year-old Vampire Diaries actress just announcing that she will be leaving The Vampire Diaries in season 8, showrunner Julie Plec has promised to give Bonnie an amazing exit.

“I’ll be honest, Kat is thinking further ahead into the future than I even was,” Julie shared with Nerdist. “I was still wrapping my head around what the hell is in store for season eight and she’s jumping ahead to season nine.”

She added, “I feel like knowing that she is feeling ready to move on and say goodbye to Bonnie, now it’s my challenge and the writers challenge to do right by that. We have a year to do it so I’m excited to come up with all the different ways that her character can say goodbye.”
