Premiering at the LA Film Festival next weekend, the flick is about an evening of drunken prank calls, which becomes a nightmare for a pair of teenagers when a mysterious stranger turns their own game against them…with deadly consequences.
Garrett spoke to JJJ about the flick, saying, “When I first saw it I was SO HAPPY it turned out the was it has. It’s polished, funny, and heart breaking. A LOT of heart went into the making of this movie. I’ve never seen myself as an aggressive man. Funny enough a couple friends came with me to the firsts screening. At the end they turned to me and said ‘I DID NOT KNOW YOU COULD DO THAT.’”
He added about working with directors Damien Macé and Alexis Wajsbrot, “I’ve never had two directors on a movie before BUT I love how Damien and Alexi balance each other.”
“I like to think of them as a kind of opposites attract situation. Alexi is VERY expressive actors director and loves to act out the scene with you! Where as Damien is very cool and collected not one to yell or be loud but knows how to speak to you to get what he needs from a scene. I had a GREAT time working with them. Who doesn’t love to hear stories of making the EPIC movies they have been a part of,” Garrett continued.
