The Weeknd's 'Starboy' Breaks Streaming Records!

The Weeknd makes history as his brand-new single “Starboy” captures “biggest opening weekend in streaming history” and the “most added record of all time at radio in one week in North America.”

The two-time Grammy Award-winning artist’s song, featuring Daft Punk, got a staggering 17 million streams globally and 6.5 millions streams in the U.S. in just four days (Thursday – Sunday) this past weekend.

It looks like the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer’s fourth studio album, Starboy, which comes out on November 25, is already off to a stratospheric start.

The Weeknd will perform “Starboy” live for the very first time as the musical guest on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live this coming Saturday (October 1).
