VIDEO: Laurie Hernandez Dances 'The Nutcracker' with the New York City Ballet

We’re convinced that there’s nothing Laurie Hernandez can’t do.

She’s won a gold medal at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics and the mirrored-ball trophy for Dancing With The Stars season 23 — so Laurie dancing and nailing every step of The Nutcracker, shouldn’t come as a surprise.

“Last year, I didn’t think I’d be doing anything I’m doing this year,” she told Teen Vogue about all her accomplishments over the past year.

Laurie adds, “[Being a role model is] a really big responsibility that I carry on my shoulders. [I hope I] can also inspire everyone. I have a lot of kids come up to me and say ‘you inspired me to do gymnastics.’”
