Was there any added pressure knowing that Farkle was the son of an original Boy Meets World character?

There wasn’t any added pressure. I was informed that Minkus was to be Farkle’s dad about half way through the first season, so at that point the character was already established. It was never a matter of recreating Minkus in Farkle though, they are two very separate people and we wanted that to be apparent.
