Stranger Things' Gaten Matarazzo Explains Winona Ryder's Facial Expressions at SAG Awards

Gaten Matarazzo has a simple explanation for Winona Ryder‘s somewhat eccentric behavior at the 2017 SAG Awards last night.

The 14-year-old Stranger Things star says that during David Habour‘s rousing speech after the cast took home the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Winona just couldn’t hear!

“I think it’s just that she couldn’t hear what David was saying,” Gaten told TMZ. “I think we were all just so happy to be with each other, it was just a great time.”

We’re not exactly sure what Gaten means concerning the sound issue, but we enjoyed her faces and David‘s speech all the same!
