FACE: Smashbox Global Pro Lead Artist Lori Taylor noted that the look for the Rebecca Minkoff “See Now, Buy Now” show was all about enhanced skin, so as not to mask the natural complexion. This was achieved by applying the Smashbox Camera Ready BB Water all over to even out complexion and add a soft wash of color.
Lightly contour the hollows of your cheeks to add dimension and accentuate your cheekbones using Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Sticks. Freckles were created with the Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer in Dark and the darkest shade of the Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Sticks to showcase the natural features of the skin as well as to finish the face with a sunkissed, beach look.
EYES: The eyes should resemble a California sunset, so the focus is on amber and golden tones. Prior to applying eyeshadow start with the Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer. Use a mixture of the warm brown tones from the Smashbox Golden Hour Cover Shot Eye Palette and Smashbox Matte Cover Shot Eye Palette. The lids are finished with a light sheen of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil. Curl your lashes and coat twice with Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara.
BROWS: To create a subtle and natural brow, apply an eyebrow pencil in a shade one shade lighter than your natural brows with the Smashbox Brow Tech Gloss Stick.
LIPS: To complete the look, lips are a combination of natural tones using Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Chai, Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Easy, Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Hater, and Smashbox Legendary Lipstick in Nylon Nude.
