Zayn Malik didn’t always have encouragement from everyone when it came to pursuing music.

In fact, the 24-year-old “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” singer just revealed that someone once told him that he should quit!

“I recall someone saying to me a while back music wasn’t my thing and maybe I should try something else..,” Zayn tweeted.

He added, “I guess we’re all good at doing things we shouldn’t…”
