EXCLUSIVE: Johnny Orlando Reacts to Kids' Choice Awards Nomination

Johnny Orlando hit the Big Apple and celebrated his first-ever Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award nomination with his family, fans and host YSBnow at Buffalo Wild Wings in Times Square.

JJJ was on the scene and asked Johnny how he felt about being nominated for Favorite Viral Music Artist. “I’m so excited, it’s crazy,” he gushed. “Last year, I was just walking the carpet, and now I’m nominated for an award! It’s just so insane, I’m so grateful and there’s literally nothing more I could ask for.” Aww, sweet.

After Johnny treated fans to an acoustic performance, his sister, Lauren, joined him for a meet and greet with hundreds of his supporters. They both signed autographs and posed for selfies.

The 14-year-old social media star even offered JJJ readers advice for fans who want to follow in his footsteps.

“If things aren’t going good in the moment, keep on doing what you are doing! Persistence and making good content is the biggest thing. If you keep making good content, people will flock to you and it will pay off,” he advised.
