Ed Sheeran Serenades a Dying Girl to Her Last Breath & Her Brother is Eternally Grateful

Ed Sheeran has touched so many people’s lives, but maybe non more than that of Triona Priestly and her family.

The 15-year-old girl was terminally ill with cystic fibrosis in 2014 when she got a call from one of her favorite people in the world: Ed Sheeran.

And, though, Sheerios know this happened almost three years ago, Triona’s brother, Aiden, is opening up to the world about how much it meant to his family.

He describes the moment that her sister heard Ed‘s voice on the other line. Ed told Triona he knew her favorite song was “Little Bird,” and then he started playing it.

The family had to hang up on Ed when it was clear that Triona was starting to pass away. And then he explains how happy she looked as she took her final breath.
