'iZombie' Showrunner Rob Thomas Was So Confident About Season Four He Re-wrote The Season Finale

Sometimes, confidence works for you — and that’s exactly what went down with iZombie.

Showrunner Rob Thomas had two different versions of the season three finale for the show, he admitted to Entertainment Weekly.

After shooting the original version though, he scrapped it without one look back — and the reason he did that? For a season four, of course.

“The season 3 finale is a pretty major reset of the show, so I feel like if I said anything about season 4, I would be giving away the cool stuff that we want to surprise people with in the finale of season 3,” he said.

So that mystery reveal that would’ve been in the season finale, was moved to the season opener for season four.

And lucky for him, and all of us, iZombie gets!

The series will be getting another season on the CW and JJJ is super excited!
