Ed Sheeran Doesn't Think Taylor Swift Needs Defending Over Katy Perry Feud

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are super close friends, and they always believe in one another and support one another, helping each other overcome self-doubts.

But, as Ed said at the 2017 Songwriters Hall of Fame, they don’t always need to defend one another.

“I don’t think she needs [to be defended] at all,” the 26-year-old “Shape of You” singer told People. (Since Katy Perry has apologized to T-Swift and dropped the matter, we’re thinking he’s absolutely right!)

He also revealed that he himself has written feud songs before, but that: “no one cares about them!”

Feud songs can be powerful; expressing one’s anger through music can lead to some magical things. That said, when celebrities themselves have dropped their “feud” (as Katy has finally done) it is definitely time for us to follow suit!
