Olivia Holt Opens Up About Her New Music

Raise your hands if you’re still obsessed with Olivia Holt‘s Olivia EP.

Yep, us too.

The four-song project came out last year and JJJ is anxiously awaiting a follow up, which we will predict that we’ll love.

“It’s a whole experimental process right now, really figuring out where I want to go lyrically, and where I want to take my sound,” Olivia told Rogue magazine about her new music.

She adds, “I want the lyrics to be authentic to me, and [for] the music [to] fulfill every element of pop, soul, and alternative, and to hear real organic instruments and tone.”

Olivia teases fans that it will still be her same sound, and all the new music will have big meanings behind them.

“I love my first EP so much and feel so proud of it is because it’s me. Every lyric is an experience of mine and an expression of who I am. I want to continue making music like that.”
