Riverdale's Camila Mendes Teases 'Tension' Between Veronica & Archie in Season 2 (Exclusive)

Camila Mendes is giving us a little preview of what’s to come in the second season of Riverdale.

In particular, how will Veronica and Archie’s (KJ Apa) relationship be affected by all crazy events of the season finale?

“There’s going to be some tension in that relationship because obviously Archie’s just gone through a very traumatic experience,” Camila told JJJ, referring to Archie’s dad being shot. “It’s either going to make their relationship stronger or it’s going to make it weaker. Probably a little bit of both (laughs).”

She added, “It’s going to be that constant – Veronica trying to be there for him and Archie pushing her away.”

Riverdale returns this fall on The CW.
