Savannah Chrisley Dishes On Her New Fashion Line: 'Inclusiveness Was The Most Important Thing'

Savannah Chrisley just launched her debut fashion line, Faith Over Fear, and every piece is something you will want in your closet.

Just last night (July 18), Savannah and her dad, Todd, met up with Giuliana Rancic at HSN’s exclusive bash to celebrate both their lines.

“Faith Over Fear is something that I have lived by for quite some time now,” she told JJJ exclusively. “I want to encourage others to let their faith in the success of a project or dream be bigger than their fear of the failure.”

“The sayings are the biggest thing,” she adds of the inspirations for the collection. “I just want to motivate others and help to bring some positivity back into this world.”

JJJ: We see a lot of celeb-endorsed lines and collaborations. What makes yours different?
SC: I have spent two years working on this line. This is not something that just has my name slapped on it! I have had meetings after meetings and have been involved in the design process from the very beginning.

JJJ: Describe your line in three words
SC: Fun, flirty, and fabulous

JJJ: Were you ever worried about starting your fashion line?
SC: At the very beginning I was nervous! I had my doubts and hesitations but my dad helped to calm those. He has taught us that we can do anything that we set our minds to and “can’t” isn’t in our vocabulary.

JJJ: How much work did you put into it yourself?
SC: I attended meeting after meeting and from the very beginning I told everyone what I wanted and the vision that I had. And once samples came back I critiqued and would not settle! I wanted everything to be perfect!

JJJ: What were some of the challenges that you faced with the line?
SC: The fit was the one thing that I was VERY picky on! I wanted my line to not be geared towards just one demographic. I wanted to have pieces that would appeal to every age and body type.

JJJ: Which items do you think fans will be impressed with?
SC: Obviously, I am obsessed with it all and I think the fans will be as well! I LOVE the shirts because the fabric is just so soft! The denim fits AMAZING and it is very affordable! And the leather jacket…oh my!

JJJ: On Twitter, you stated that your line is for everyone – every gender, every age, every size. How important was it for you to have that inclusiveness in your line?
SC: This was one of the most important things to me…if not THE most important!! I never want someone to look at my line and think, “I want it but can’t have it.” My line is for EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE! Discrimination is not something that I endorse! I want to make EVERYONE feel loved and beautiful!
