NASA Gave Katy Perry a Shout-Out After Her VMA Hosting Gig
Katy Perry made an extended space-related joke on Sunday at the 2017 MTV VMAs that got even NASA’s attention.
MTV posted a video of the pop star’s bit about taking a detour into space on her way to the award show (posted below.)
“Hey @KatyPerry,” the official NASA Twitter account responded to the tweet. “Glad you were also able to learn about our @MarsCuriosity rover, currently trekkin’ the Red Planet.”
“Well now I can sleep because @nasa recognized my existence,” Katy joked back.
It is pretty impressive… one might even say, out of this world. (Sorry.) Read their full exchange below!
