Ed Sheeran Sings 'Dive' To Baby Named After Him in Miami

Ed Sheeran continues his worldwide Divide tour on Wednesday night (August 30) in Miami, Fla., and had the cutest concert-goer there.

The “Shape of You” singer was introduced to Cooper Sheeran Smith, a one-year old baby girl who was indeed named after him, via EOnline.

“Her middle name is Sheeran?” Ed asked her parents, before adding, “I’ve never seen a baby this calm at a concert. Just chilling there for the whole thing and you guys have been loud, you’re singing and she’s just kinda like…I love babies.”


After meeting the family, Ed dedicated his next song, “Dive,” to Cooper, and asked the audience to sing along for her.

“I want you to be as loud as you can,” he said. “‘Cause she’s gonna be chill.”
