Madelaine Petsch Teases Cheryl Blossom's Romantic Relationship On 'Riverdale' Season 2

The Riverdale star had a little time off from filming the CW show’s second season because of the holiday weekend.

Speaking with Forbes recently, Madelaine opened up about what’s headed our way when season two gets here.

“It’s important that we go back to the things we discussed in the last season and that includes a lot of social justice issues,” Madelaine shares. “We’re going into episode five next week of 22 and a lot of things happen in that episode that is very normal for people in high school.”

She adds, “It’s important for TV to bring that to light, so I’m excited for people to see it.”

Madelaine also shared a tiny bit about Cheryl’s romantic relationships on the show, saying that the relationship she’s in with her special someone is “nothing that anybody expects.”
