America’s Got Talent finalist Evie Clair and her family are still mourning the loss of her father, Amos, who passed away last week.

Now the question is will Evie return for the finals at all because of this tragedy?

Judge Simon Cowell spoke to Extra about Evie’s return and revealed that it’s unclear right now: “We reached out to the family and her and said, ‘It’s your choice whether you want to come on the show or not.’”

“If she doesn’t, she definitely will be welcome to come on next year.”


Evie‘s father, Amos, passed away last week just a day after Evie was announced as a finalist.
