Alessia Cara Says Her Sophomore Album is a 'Lot More Mature'
Alessia Cara‘s music always comes with a powerful message, from the empowering “Scars to Your Beautiful” to the important “1-800-273-8255.”
Now, the 21-year-old singer is working on her sophomore album, which she hopes to release “early or mid-next year,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
“It’s a lot more mature sonically and even lyrically,” Alessia revealed. “I’ve been writing a lot more maturely and in bit more in a reflective way as opposed to the first album which was very aggressive and kind of like teenage angst.”
“In this one I’ve calmed down a bit. It’s more vulnerable and a little bit more introspective.”
We can’t wait to hear how she’s grown.
