Bailee Madison Opens Up About Women Who Inspire Her

In a new interview, the Strangers: Prey at Night actress dished on the importance of always surrounding yourself with people who bring out the best in you.

“I’m really fortunate to have amazing women in my life who lift me up, and also my faith at the core of it,” she told Forbes. “I’ve tried to keep my circle really close and really tight, and have the mentality that all of this could end at any point, so just be humble and appreciate and wake up every day and give it everything I have.”

“My mom has been with me on this journey ever since I started,” Bailee continued. “She’s right next to me now! She’s my best friend and is constantly picking me up on hard days. And when I’m doubting myself, my sister is there to remind me who I am and why I do what I do. And then, in this industry, Reese Witherspoon is absolutely killing it and is such a powerful voice for women. She’s showing that you can really do anything you put your mind to, and that it’s cool and it’s accepted.”

She added, “My mom always taught me to look at people as human beings, so when I think about those [famous] names I obviously think of their immense talent, but I got to know them on a personal level, and to me that means so much — the conversations I had and will cherish the rest of my life.”
