Lisa & Lena's Advice to Those Just Starting On Musical.ly? Be Yourself!

Lisa and Lena wear identical blue suits to the 2018 About You Awards held at Bavaria Studios on Thursday (May 3) in Munich, Germany.

The 15-year-old twins, who found fame on musical.ly, were presenters at the annual award show.

Speaking in a recent interview, Lisa and Lena dished out some advice for beginners on the app.

“Do not pretend,” Lisa says. “Social media is like a diary where someone writes something down. But everyone reads this, and if something is in it, you can not erase that easily.”

She adds, “You have to watch what you publish. musical.ly should be fun. You can not be forced by anyone.”

Lena agrees: “Do not put on a mask. You should not pretend to be someone else. Just be who you are.”

She continues, “Because when you are successful and then come out as you really are, everyone thinks: Huh, who is that? So, be yourself!”
