Grace VanderWaal Is Still Figuring Out Her Exact Sound

Grace VanderWaal has landed her first ever magazine cover with Girls’ Life!

The 14-year-old musician, who won season 12 of America’s Got Talent, opened up in the June/July 2018 issue about social media, not feeling the word “famous”, and how she’s still figuring it all out one day at a time.

“I don’t think I really know my exact style or my sound yet,” she shared. “I want my music to evolve to become more me.”

Grace adds, “But I don’t know. I think I’m going to keep writing and just see where it goes.”

Later this month, Grace will be hitting the road with Imagine Dragons on their tour, something she’s really excited for.

“I’m used to the small venues I usually play, but this is going to be stadiums and arenas, which is so cool,” she shared.
