'Supernatural' Season 14 To Only Have 20 Episodes

Supernatural‘s upcoming 14th season is going to be a really short one.

TVLine is reporting that instead of the normal 24 episode season this coming fall on The CW, the show is going down to just 20 episodes.

While this may not seem short, it is.

Supernatural has had 20 episodes or more for each and every one of it’s past seasons, except for season 3, which only had 16 because of the writer’s strike.

The network didn’t comment on just why there are only 20 episodes.
