'Originals' Riley Voelkel Joins 'Roswell' Reboot on CW
Riley Voelkel is staying with the CW family.
The Originals actress, who played Freya Mikaelson on the show, is hopping over to Roswell, New Mexico, EW reports.
Riley will star as Cameron, Max’s (Nathan Parsons) quick-witted partner at the Sheriff’s Department who has the rare ability to break through Max’s stony cowboy facade. Scrappy, sexy, and cool, she’s impossible to rattle and prides herself on being a realist who can handle whatever life throws her way.
Roswell, New Mexico centers on Liz, the daughter of undocumented immigrants, who returns home to Roswell, New Mexico and discovers a secret about her teenage crush, Max.
The series, also starring Jeanine Mason, Tyler Blackburn, Michael Trevino and more, is set to have a midseason premiere on The CW.
