Meg Donnelly Interviews Janet Jackson For Radio Disney

“It was an amazing opportunity to be able to interview @JanetJackson at @radiodisney. I am so thankful,” the -year-old actress tweeted about the experience.

During the interview, Meg was able to ask Janet about her advice for emerging artists.

“Never lose sight of your dreams, first and foremost,” Janet shared. “Keep God in your heart. That’s important. [And] to stay grounded.”

She added, “That’s important…I started out when I was seven in the industry [and] I think it’s important to still make sure you listen to your mama, you listen to your parents. Stay focused.”
