Alexis Ren Honors Her Mom With Contemporary Performance on 'DWTS' Week #3

Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten gave us all the feels on Dancing with the Stars on Monday night (October 8).

The twosome pulled at our emotions with a contemporary performance, set to “How to Save a Life” by Ray Chew Live.

Alexis picked the year 2014 for her most memorable year, which is when she lost her mom to cancer.

She recounted the moment she found out her mom had cancer to Alan. “Those months changed me so drastically,” she shared in the video package. “It was the hardest thing a child can ever hear.”

Alexis and Alan earned 26 points, out of 30, from the judges for their performance.
