Danielle Campbell Says 'Originals' Fans Will Love Her New Series 'Tell Me A Story'

Danielle Campbell and Paul Wesley are starring in a new show together called Tell Me A Story, which isn’t unlike The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

The two actors opened up to IBT in a recent interview and shared just why their fans from Originals and TVD will enjoy it.

“It’s dark and sexy, like Originals,” Danielle says. “But it’s completely new characters, completely new story.”

She adds, “It’s present day [and] it’s New York City. So, I don’t think that there’s too much that’ll relate to it in that component, but I think they’re gonna love it. I think they’re gonna love it a lot.”

Paul agreed with Danielle‘s points, saying that the new series, “is like a slightly more sophisticated, mature, adult, thematic, that isn’t as soap opera-esque, I suppose.”

“I think that my fans will enjoy the fact that there is like a hint of the supernatural, but it’s actually not there. There’s nothing. It’s just the folklore’s there,” he added.
