OlderDove Cameron Shares First Look Of Her as Cher For 'Clueless' Musical
We always knew that Dove Cameron would be the perfect Cher in any type of Clueless reboot or play – and her new Instagram pic proves it!
The 22-year-old actress shared the first look of her as the iconic character on her feed this afternoon with fans.
“back to the task at hand #cluelessmusical,” Dove captioned.
If you missed the news, Dove will be starring in the Off Broadway musical this winter, which starts on November 20th and runs through January 13th.
Based on Jane Austen‘s “Emma” novel, Clueless centers on shallow and rich Cher, who plays matchmaker amongst her peers and teachers. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give a hopelessly klutzy new student a makeover.
But when she becomes more popular than she is, Cher realizes that her disapproving ex-stepbrother was right about how misguided she was — and falls for him.
