'Batwoman' Pilot With Ruby Rose Ordered by The CW!

Get ready: Batwoman is coming!

The CW gave a pilot order to the DC drama series starring Ruby Rose, Deadline revealed on Thursday (January 3).

David Nutter is set to direct the pilot.

The CW first revealed the show’s development after announcing the appearance of Batwoman in the annual Arrow-verse crossover.

Batwoman also marks the first gay lead character of a live-action superhero series.

Here’s a summary: “Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence.
